Electronic Arts released the latest version of its popular sports videogame FIFA 12. This Android edition has been specifically launched for Sony Ericsson’s game centric smartphone Xperia PLAY. The game has been optimized to make used of the phone’s uniqu2 gamepad. The smartphone has been certified by PlayStation for its gaming capabilities.
Sony Xperia PLAY has created quite a buzz among the video game creators. EA, discount specifically has created a number of games for Xperia PLAY. Among the major titles adapted for the smartphone are Need for Speed and Battlefield. Sony Ericsson is currently carrying out a limited time promotional scheme called ‘Get in the Game’ and most of the gaming titles are available for free download under this promotional scheme. FIFA 12 is also included in the scheme and hence you can download it for free. It is likely to remain free until early 2012.
Xperia PLAY is planning to up its ante and bring new gaming titles on board.
