LG Dual Core Optimus 2X is finally here and you can have a piece of it for mere £449.99. Widely touted as the world’s first dual core smartphone, viagra price Optimus 2X packs the punch with 512 MB RAM and 8 GB of onboard storage, remedy which you can further expand to 32 GB using MicroSD card. 2011 is likely to see an avalanche of dual-core phones.

Among the hotly anticipated phones are Motorola Atrix and Samsung Galaxy S II. While both phones are likely to hit the UK market in May, Galaxy S II is currently available for pre-order from www.play.co.uk for £539.99. So, it looks like LG has a very small window to reap the benefits of being an early bird.

Apart from its USP of dual core processor, the phone has other features like impressive 8 MP camera which is also capable of shooting in full HD 1080p mode. You can also stream hi-def video on the phone itself or can hook it to a TV via HDMI port. However, this cutting edge phone is not the only one to get priced for the UK market. Samsung too has launched its budget Smartphone Galaxy Mini via Three. This sub-£100 phone comes with 3.14 inch screen and 3 MP camera. Although to our dismay, the phone uses Froyo version of Android, but considering the price of the phone, we really cannot complain. It has reasonably good 600 MHz processor and has access to Samsung app features. It also has access to Google Marketplace. After all these not-so stunning specs, let us not get dissuaded by its puny 2 GB of internal storage as well, since you can expand it by 32 GB using a microSD card.

Samsung Galaxy Mini is up for grabs on contracts starting from £15 per month. The handset itself will cost you £99 on PAYG. These two phones seem to be on the opposite end of the spectrum, but it is good to see that smartphones market is gaining traction and is providing choices to meet all types of budgets and requirements.
