Xbox 360 Goes 3D by Partnering with LG 3DTVs

LG and Microsoft are rumoured to be joining forces which we will see 3D gaming arrive on the Xbox 360.

Apart from offering us with 3D gaming on the Xbox 360, this ‘strategic alliance’ will also include Xbox 360s and games sold alongside existing LG 3D TVs in consumer bundles, in which the first one will include Xbox 360s sold with the LX5900 3DTV.

Although the bundles will only be available in Korea, it is expected that a worldwide release of these consumers bundles will also be on the cards in the not so distant future.

However, all this speculation of Microsoft partnering with LG has caused some to question whether Microsoft are just jumping on the 3D gaming bandwagon after hearing news of Sony’s PS3 going 3D.

What do you think? Do you think Microsoft will be able to compete with the likes of Sony in 3D gaming? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think…
